I traveled to Shanghai in July of 2009 for some collaborative work with Prof. Nan Shen’s medical research laboratory in Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Prof. Shen and the lab members treated me to a wonderful two weeks in Shanghai. In my time there, I took the opportunity to explore this vibrant and super fast-paced city of the Orient. Here are some photos that I feel were a summary of my feelings about this city.
