My X-Pro 1 accompanied me on this trip to Singapore and Taiwan. My camera bag comprised the XF 14 f/2.8, the XF 35 f/1.4 and the XF 56 f/1.2 and four batteries. My wife was shooting with her X-E1 and 18-55 kit lens. It is certainly a nice change to be packing lighter as compared to my old kit (Canon 1Ds Mark II, 24-70 f/2.8, 70-200 f/2.8 IS, 180 macro and MP-E65).
Our first stop was in Singapore to visit my wife’s family and catch up with friends. This is the first time we have had time to visit Gardens by the Bay since it was completed. I highly recommend you visit during a time of the day before the tourist groups arrive!

Our next stop was a six day guided tour of Taiwan. We landed in Taipei and we were to travel South starting from the mountainous East coast, then to Kaohsiung, then up the West coast and eventually return to Taipei for our outbound flight. Since this was a guided tour, I did not have any opportunity to sneak off to take any photos. I did not bring my large tripod because this was not the purpose of this trip.
